City launches new website
to engage citizens in planning process

The city of Arvada recently launched Arvada Listens, a new website where the community can engage, communicate and collaborate with the city on issues and opportunities with the city.

The website,, was created by MindMixer and will be used to get the community involved in the planning process.

The site will be a way for the city to communicate ideas with residents and give them a chance to provide feedback anytime and anywhere.

MindMixer makes it possible for city administrators to track hot topics on the site and makes it easy to communicate with citizens.

League of Women Voters to discuss
human services in next meeting

The Jefferson County League of Women Voters is discussing human services in Jeffco at its monthly meeting Tuesday, March 26.

The discussion will be at Sportline Store, 6543 Wadsworth Blvd., at 9:15 a.m. March 26.

League of Women Voters’ meetings are open to men and women regardless of party affiliation.

Apex hosting annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday

Apex Park and Recreation District is celebrating Eater a week early with its annual Easter Egg Hunt.

This year’s egg hunt begins at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, in the southeast portion of Stenger Soccer Complex, 11200 W. 58th Ave.

Apex asks that egg hunters be at the complex by 10:45 a.m. and that they bring a basket. The Easter egg hunt is free.
