Please urge your readers to fight against the proposed American Health Care Act. After being laid off, the ACA allowed me to shift my focus from work to family support. This included helping my mother through the last year of her life, and now helping care for my infant grandson. At least I have options; people on the edge of health will not survive.
We need Medicare for all like most advanced countries. Instead we face chaos because the Colorado cannot afford to absorb the reductions in Medicaid and TABOR will not allow recovery of any costs. Those who hated ACA/O-care will end up hating the result of this even more. It is a gift to the rich. One day you may not have good insurance through employment and it will hurt you too. Think longer term, pay attention and please ask your representatives to vote no on AHCA.
