"It is harmony of the diverse parts, their symmetry, their happy balance; in a word it is all that introduces order, all that gives unity, that permits us to see clearly and to comprehend at once both the ensemble and the details."
Theoretical Physicist and Philosopher
Nature is chaos. And yet – paradoxically -- nature is relegated to a predictable geometric order. Where a casual observer might see an object as inert, a closer analysis reveals dynamic motion and trajectories defined by nonlinear arcs. These geometries constitute the framework upon which these paintings are based. It is this grand ballet of light, energy, motion and time that I allow to emerge from these images of nature, where we the observers become integral participants in this ever-changing dance of life.
