“This coming March will be ‘My Fair Lady’s’ 60th anniversary and we are excited to bring this to our community young and old,” said Gordon, director of Faith’s theater department. “Everyone has infinite worth and value, and if they can learn this through our musicals then we have succeeded.”

“The Music Man” book, music and lyrics by Meredith Willson

Smooth, fast-talking “Professor” Harold Hill enters River City, Iowa, to create a marching band and steal from this lovable community. With his integrity questioned, the trickster has to prove himself a straight shooter and earn back the community’s trust.

“This performance is distinctive to Pomona because it is a show that has a very rich history and was done here 15 years ago,” said Richard Clark, Pomona’s Catwalk Theatre director. “I would like the cast and crew to learn about how a professional theater company is run as well as how to appreciate the wonderful and beautiful music of Meredith Willson. There is something so amazing about these shows from the golden age of musical theater that have timeless lesson of life and love.”
