The County Fair Garden Center (17201 W. 64th Ave.) is hosting two spring-themed workshops this spring break.

Thursday, March 27, at 2 p.m., there will be a kids craft workshop titled "Rock and Roll Garden Crafts!"

The workshop will include rock garden crafts, such as Rock Sculptures, Paintings, Drawings, and Decorating. Different stations will be set up so kids can choose which craft they want to make – or they can make them all. Paint may not come out of clothes. The cost is $5 to $10 per craft

Saturday, March 29, at 10 a.m. there will be a workshop entitled "Contain Your Excitement: Plant Your Own Frost Hardy Container."

Gardeners will be provided everything needed to plant a container that will give the color and the feel of Spring, but will survive some frosty weather. The workshop will give information about each plant and how to care for them.

Cost for the workshop is $30 for all the materials including container, soil and plants.
