DENVER TIMING ASSOCATION
The Denver Timing Association, founded in 1949, is celebrating their 70th anniversary with a car show intended to show a timeline of Hot-Rodding in Colorado & its’ neighbors as an amateur endeavor, roughly until about 1960.
At this time, The Continental Divide Raceways came into completion and was operated as a professional org. This marked the successful completion of the basic reason upon which the D.T.A. was founded and was heavily involved in the solicitation, promotion and launching of the most prestigious auto sport site in the country, having a venue for Drag Racing, Sports Car track, Sprint Car oval, Motorcycle Events, Antique and show events.
We are searching for vehicles, People, stories, engines “whatever” that were involved back then, and/or, now.
We can claim many successes on local and national levels.
