Along with the works of Dorothy DePaulo, “Lost in the Woods” is a juried exhibit presented by the Rocky Mountain Society of Botanical Artists. The subject for the exhibition is trees, and all aspects of their growth, from root to crown, in all seasons. Artists were encouraged to depict whatever aspects of trees they find most engaging and inspiring while adhering to high standards of botanical accuracy and skilled use of media. The exhibit is intended to show an appreciation for the diversity of trees around us via botanical illustration.
