Shooting at Lakewood Walmart leaves two brothers dead

Lakewood Police are investigating a shooting that occurred outside a Walmart at Colfax and Wadsworth that left two brothers dead. 
 
Police were called to the area of 7455 W. Colfax Ave. at around 8:22 p.m. on Aug. 23 and found 18-year-old Damian Wikoff and 17-year-old Dillon Wikoff with apparent gunshot wounds. The two were taken to area hospitals where they later died from their injuries. The suspect left the scene in a vehicle and is not in custody, according to a release from Lakewood Police.  
 
Officers believe the shooting was an isolated incident with no danger to the public. The investigation is ongoing as police are following leads.
