Profession: Data Architect
I am running for city council in Arvada to continue the work I have been doing for our community for the last 15 years. I love contributing to parks, recreation, work spaces, shopping, and schools and by being elected to the Arvada city council I will continue to contribute to all of those areas.
There is no other candidate in the District 2 race that can match my history of contributing to our community. I have worked on parks including Britton and Griffith Station, recreation at Fitzmorris Recreation Center, development by leading the Arvada Planning Commission, traffic by leading the campaign to widen 72nd Ave and Ralston Road, schools by leading Jeffco’s Technology and Data Privacy Advisory Committee. These experiences have prepared me.
My top priorities are traffic, development, and affordable housing.
Arvada should work with any developer that is brining resources to build affordable housing. We should look at zoning and make reasonable allowances that will help those developers complete affordable housing projects while not infringing on existing neighborhoods.
There are still active urban renewal areas and will be for at least 10 years. AURA needs to finish the job it has started and complete the work it has done.
