Cindy Jennings’ Practically Sustainable column about saving a penny or two at the gas pump gave me a chuckle. And it is so true. I’ve known people who drive miles out of their way because gas is, what, 3 cents less. I caught myself thinking doing that the other day, and that would have involved an abrupt lane change and, yes, passing my snug homefront in the quest of saving probably a quarter. My dad used to chase around looking for a better deal on dental work. Ouch! Just fill it and get on with it.

Loved your article, Cindy. Keep ‘em coming.
